The Mermaid's Chair in the Old Church

There is an old church. It is small and grey. There is one special chair inside.

The chair has a mermaid on it. The mermaid is beautiful. She has a fish tail. She has long hair.

A girl sees the chair. She points at the mermaid. "She is here!" the girl says. The girl wants to sit. But the chair is for the mermaid. The girl stops.

She looks at the mermaid's face. The mermaid's eyes are open. The mermaid sees the girl.

The girl is not afraid. She smiles. The mermaid smiles too. Now the girl is happy.

The old chair is magic. The girl comes back every day. The mermaid is always there. The old church has a secret.
