How to Say "et cetera" in Spanish
The Spanish word for “et cetera” is “etc.” — A1 level. This is a very common word in everyday Spanish.

Examples

At the market we bought fruits: apples, pears, oranges, etc.
Necesitas traer papel, lápiz, tijeras, etc., para la clase de arte.
You need to bring paper, a pencil, scissors, etc., for the art class.
La conferencia trató sobre tecnología, innovación, seguridad, etc.
The conference was about technology, innovation, security, etc.
Always use a dot
Even though it represents a full word (etcétera), you must always include the period at the end: 'etc.'.
Don't say 'and' before it
In Spanish, the 'et' in 'etc.' already means 'and' (from Latin). Saying 'y etc.' is like saying 'and and so on,' so just use 'etc.' by itself.
The 'And' Trap
Mistake: “Compré pan, leche, y etc.”
Correction: Compré pan, leche, etc. (Don't use 'y' before 'etc.')
Double Periods
Mistake: “Me gusta el azul, rojo, etc..”
Correction: Me gusta el azul, rojo, etc. (If 'etc.' is at the end of a sentence, its own period serves as the sentence's final period too.)
