The Wrong Coat Taken from the School Lost Property

Mia is cold. It is winter. She does not have her coat. She looks in her bag. No coat. She looks in her classroom. No coat.

'Look in the lost property box,' says her teacher.

Mia goes to the office. She finds a blue coat in a big box. It is warm and nice. She puts it on. She puts her hands in the pockets. Her hand finds a yellow button and a small piece of paper. The paper says: 'For good luck. — Leo.'

Mia looks at the coat. This is not her coat. It is Leo's coat. She goes to Class 4B. She sees a boy.

'Are you Leo?' Mia asks.

'Yes,' he says.

Mia gives him the coat. Leo finds the button in the pocket. He smiles.

'You can have the button,' Leo says. 'For good luck.'

Mia takes the small yellow button. She walks home. She is cold, but she feels happy.
