How to Say "prognosis" in Spanish
The Spanish word for “prognosis” is “pronóstico” — A2 level. This is a very common word in everyday Spanish.

Examples
El pronóstico del tiempo dice que va a llover esta tarde.
The weather forecast says it's going to rain this afternoon.
Mi pronóstico es que nuestro equipo ganará el partido.
My prediction is that our team will win the game.
El pronóstico del médico fue muy alentador.
The doctor's prognosis was very encouraging.
Always Masculine
Even if the prediction is about something feminine, like 'la lluvia' (the rain), the word 'pronóstico' always stays masculine: 'el pronóstico'.
The Accent Matters
Make sure to put the stress on the 'nós' sound. Without the accent mark, 'pronostico' means 'I predict' (the action), but 'pronóstico' with the accent is the 'forecast' (the thing).
Spelling confusion
Mistake: “pronostico del tiempo”
Correction: pronóstico del tiempo (with an accent on the 'o').
