How to Say "to ski" in Spanish
The Spanish word for “to ski” is “esquiar” — A1 level.

Examples
Me gusta esquiar en las montañas durante el invierno.
I like to ski in the mountains during the winter.
Nunca hemos esquiado en el agua, solo en la nieve.
We have never water-skied, only on snow.
Si nieva mañana, esquiaremos todo el día.
If it snows tomorrow, we will ski all day.
The Stress on the 'i'
When saying 'I ski' or 'you ski', the 'i' becomes loud and strong, so we add an accent mark: 'esquío' and 'esquías'. This prevents the 'i' and 'o' from blending into one sound.
Water vs. Snow
Spanish uses the same verb for both water skiing and snow skiing. You simply specify 'en el agua' (in the water) or 'en la nieve' (in the snow) if the context isn't clear.
Missing Accent Mark
Mistake: “Yo esquio en invierno.”
Correction: Yo esquío en invierno. (Always put an accent on the 'i' in the present forms, except for 'we' and 'you all'.)
