How to Say "to style" in Spanish
The Spanish word for “to style” is “peinar” — A1 level. This is a very common word in everyday Spanish.

Examples
Necesito peinar a mi hijo antes de la escuela.
I need to comb my son's hair before school.
Ella siempre se peina frente al espejo.
She always combs her hair in front of the mirror.
El peluquero peinó a la novia con mucho cuidado.
The hairdresser styled the bride's hair very carefully.
Doing it to yourself
If you are combing your own hair, you must add 'me', 'te', or 'se' (peinarse). Use 'peinar' alone only if you are doing it to someone else.
Body parts with 'the'
In Spanish, we don't say 'my hair' with this word. We say 'the hair'. Instead of 'peino mi pelo', say 'me peino el pelo'.
Comb vs. Brush
Mistake: “Using 'cepillar' for everything.”
Correction: Use 'peinar' for general styling or using a comb. 'Cepillar' is strictly for using a brush.
