One word for both genders

In Spanish, words ending in '-ista' usually don't change their ending. To show if you're talking about a man or a woman, just change the word 'the' or 'a' in front of it: 'el pianista' (the male pianist) or 'la pianista' (the female pianist).

Always ends in 'a'

Even when talking about a man, the word still ends in 'a'. Never say 'pianisto'!
