Why is 'me' at the end?

In Spanish, when you give a direct command to someone, you attach the person receiving the action (me) directly to the end of the verb.

The Mystery Accent Mark

We add an accent mark on the 'é' to make sure the stress stays on the same part of the word ('SAY') even after we add the extra 'me' syllable at the end.
