The Irregular 'G' Sound

Notice how 'atraer' adds a 'g' sound in the 'yo' form of the present tense ('atraigo') and in the entire present subjunctive ('atraiga'). This is the same pattern as 'traer' (to bring) and 'caer' (to fall).
