田字格 divides each square into four parts to help place components. 米字格 adds diagonal guides for balance and proportion. Plain squares give fewer visual cues. Each row starts with a model, followed by your chosen number of tracing boxes and blank practice boxes.
Simplified and Traditional handwriting
The worksheet preserves whichever characters you enter. 学 and 學 produce different models. Choose a Chinese handwriting font on your device when possible; regional glyph shapes and stroke conventions can differ. A tracing model shows the final shape, not the order of strokes.

Use vocabulary you are reading
Copy useful characters or a short sentence from a Chinese story. Pinyin is inferred from the full input before punctuation is removed, so words provide more context than isolated characters. Check names and ambiguous readings before giving the worksheet to a learner.
