Make sense of what you’re practicing
What this test covers
The check samples written MSA grammar, everyday vocabulary, and short reading passages. Questions become less vocalized as they become more demanding. It does not test listening, spoken interaction, or free writing.
How the starting point is chosen
There are eight questions in each of three practice bands. The suggested reading level advances when you answer at least six correctly in each consecutive band. Scores below that threshold at A1 suggest starting with A0 reading support.
A short diagnostic has limits
These original questions are not statistically calibrated or officially certified. Guessing, familiarity with a topic, and reading-script fluency can affect the result. Use a teacher-led assessment when you need formal placement.
Turn your result into practice
Review missed answers and their explanations, then study one weak topic at a time. Read a story at the suggested level: if it is consistently too easy or too hard, adjust. A useful starting point matters more than a single label.
