Make sense of what you’re practicing
Romanization is not translation
한국어 becomes hangugeo, not the English meaning ‘Korean language’. Latin letters help you get started, but learning Hangul removes ambiguities such as eo (ㅓ) versus o (ㅗ).
Letters change with their neighbours
A final consonant can link to the next vowel: 한국어 → hangugeo. Before a nasal, a stop can become nasal too: 백마 → baengma. The converter handles common linking, nasalization, liquid assimilation, palatalization and aspiration patterns.
Names and word boundaries need care
Official romanization depends on pronunciation and sometimes morphology. Established personal and company names may keep their usual spellings. Automatic output is a starting point; it does not infer every compound boundary or name convention.
