Make sense of what you’re practicing
Keep one syllable in one square
한 is one block, even though it contains three letters. Its final ㄴ sits below ㅎ and ㅏ. Practice fitting the entire syllable into one square instead of spreading the letters across several boxes.
Trace, copy, then recall
Begin with tracing boxes, then copy the model into the blank boxes. For a harder round, choose zero tracing boxes and cover the model after looking at it. Short daily practice is more useful than filling a page without looking carefully.
Letter shape is not stroke order
The pale models show the finished shape and the guidelines help with proportion. They do not encode stroke order. In general, writing progresses from top to bottom and left to right; learn each letter’s stroke sequence separately before speeding up.
